My first post of the new year! I can't believe it's already 2018! The last 2 months literally zoomed by. As soon as the holidays were over, work picked up (I was promoted and took on a lot more, go me!), and now we're here...ready to celebrate Valentine's Day. Jordan and I aren't as crazy about celebrating these small holidays anymore. It's not that the love is gone, I think we just feel like we want to relax, just spend time with Rocky, and maybe go out and try a new restaurant or just explore a new city.
This time around, (since I'm still trying to catch up on sleep) we decided to keep our plans low-key and grabbed lunch at Philippe's in LA then got soft serve at Magpie's. Philippe's has delicious french dip sandwiches. I ordered the beef dip on a french roll and double dipped. Mmmmm, my mouth is watering just thinking of it. I could probably eat one everyday if I could.
Getting ready for the day was quick change for us. Thank goodness fanny packs are back in style. I dusted off my old fanny pack and ran out the door! It's so helpful to just grab your wallet, phone, and lipgloss and have it all with you without having to bring a large bag. I've linked a few of my favorite fanny packs of the season below!
I was also having major hair inspiration from one of my favorite bloggers, which turned out the be the best hair-do for my dirty hair!
Let me know your thoughts if you decide to try the fanny pack trend! I'm curious if this trend is a love or hate. As for me, I'm loving it!
